Exhibition runs: 8 March – 30 April
Opening Evening: Saturday 12 March 4.30-6.00pm

An Open Exhibition organised by the Women’s Arts Association (WAA) showing the diverse talents and productions of women working in the arts in Wales.

Since it began, the WAA has organised such exhibitions as part of its Arts Festivals in celebration of ‘International Women’s Day’. 2011 is a special year as it is the Global Centenary of the first honouring of 8th March as being ‘International Women’s Day’. It is a day supported by the United Nations and on this day throughout the world there are celebrations of women’s achievements and networking events where they affirm together their aspirations for the future.

Please note – exhibition is open from 8 March until 30 April, and the exhibition will be formally opened at The Gate on Saturday 12th March from 4.30 – 6.00pm – music from Lucello (Lucy Simmonds, Cello).
